CF KIDS

Helping kids know
the love of Christ

Community Fellowship Kids provides two different opportunities for ministry to children.  Sunday morning Kids Church and Kids Connect once a month.

We are deeply committed to teaching children a Jesus-centered, grace-driven understanding of the entire Bible. We believe that through providing Christ-centered teaching in every opportunity, and through providing parents with biblical resources and discipleship – we can one day send out our kids equipped to make the love of Christ known throughout the world.

Sunday Morning Kids Church

Sundays during the Message

Sundays at 10 am kids are invited to worship with their families and are then dismissed during the message where our PreK through 1st grade are invited to the upstairs loft above Glory Bean Coffee Co. for a Bible lesson that includes a fun time of games, craft activities and video or in person teaching.  Our 2nd through 4th graders meet in the Conference Room for a more age specific lesson that allows them to explore deeper that day’s themes. All kids are encouraged to bring their Bibles as we practice finding our weekly verses together.  Each lesson is geared toward introducing kids to the love of Christ.

Kids Connect

2nd Wednesday of the Month

On the second Wednesday of every month kids are welcome to join us at the church at 6:00 pm for Kids Connect.  This is our monthly elementary Bible study for PreK through 4th graders. We’ll have dinner, a time of fun games and crafts, exciting teaching that helps extend the Sunday morning lesson, and periodic times to provide kids a way to love our community through serving.  Previous serving opportunities have included Christmas caroling, collecting items for Thanksgiving baskets for families in need, and visiting the nursing home to decorate windows or pass out Valentine cards.

What we study

GROW Kids Curriculum was created by seasoned kids ministry leaders for the small, local church. As a curriculum it is a comprehensive annual kids ministry strategy that focuses on four key spiritual habits:

  • spending time with God
  • using your gifts
  • spending time with others
  • sharing your story

Since there are four spiritual habits researchers have identified as the key to a kid’s spiritual growth, Grow Kids breaks the year into four quarters and focuses on one spiritual habit each quarter. Each quarter, kids are provided one discipleship activity for that quarter’s habit.

Packed with all sorts of helpful resources for families, kids love each month’s unique theme.  -growcurriculum.org
